| lil help pleaseby wolfsmane Front Page * FAQ Forum * Archive Index Prev :: Nexti have an 82 chevy silverado regular cab. first, is there enough room in the doors to fit an infinity kappa 6.5 component? second, i plan to put 3.5 infinity kappa's in the dash and hopefully the 6.5's in the door. what would be a good amp to push these? i want louder than an aftermarket receiver can push. thanks ya'll!! Replies (1) GT_man on 03/15/2003 03:06:57 couldnt find an 82 silverado on crutchfield.com......u sure its an 82? as far as those 3.5's....id ditch em they only handle 35w and the 6.5 components handle 90....so id stick just with the 6.5's unless you want to run the 3.5's off the HU...wich will reduce SQ but an amp for the 6.5 components...a good choice woule be Alpine MRV-T320... RMS Power Output (Watts x Channels) 80 x 2 Frequency Response 20-20k Hz THD at Rated RMS Power 0.08% Signal to Noise Ratio 100 dB Great SQ to really make those 6.5 kappas shine :-D good luck! |
