Sup guys. I havent been on for a few months, since I ran into a deer with my car.... Many helped me with my last car, wich was a pain for a system.....(88 gran prix)brbrMy new project is my 88 rx7. Right now I have to drop a motor in it,(got the car for 900 bucks) and funds will be tight, but in about a month I should be in good shape.brbrThe specs are:brbr4" in dashbr6 1/2" in backbrbrI do not know much about these speaker sizes, but I am looking for are decent coaxials, full range and around 50 watts Rms. brbrSame for the 6 1/2"s, eventually I will amp these speakers with about 50 watts rms, at least thats what I am shooting at.brbrPossible 4" speakers?brPossible 6 1/2" speakers?brbrI was looking at polks, infinitys, audiobahns, and alpines and clarion. Obviuosly its hard to just say go with brand X, but if anyone has suggestions or experience with these size speakers, I would love to know! Joepro on 04/27/2004 18:19:51 Ya, I know the wiring is goofy from my friend. I help him install his system in his rx7. It was definatly a lot of work, but im prepared. :) swez on 04/28/2004 11:30:55 Can you find a place in the front door panels for a pair of 6.5" speakers in there? Comps would be an excellent choice up front and coaxials in rear. That will give you very good sound stage presents up fron and adequate fill from the rear. Thes best deal I know of, are the CDT Cl-61a's from Zeb audio. $150.00 per pair is a bit steep perhaps, but considering these usually sell for over $300.00 a pair... this is a good deal. The CDT's are very natural in sound and require some amping to get them to full potential... but with these, you may not even need a sub. If you do add a sub, a modest one is plenty for this size vehicle. http://www.thezeb.com/detail.aspx?ID=1083 Free shipping via UPS ground too. Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
