OK my friend goes to a trade school Erie 1 boces for electronics and the teacher is teaching him that you need more watts in the amp then for the sub or you will blow your subs if you don't have more watts in the amp? It is like backwards right? Well I have a MA Audio M12080i 1000watt amp, 2 channel, 500 max out both channels and 250 rms out both also. I am thinking about buying a set of Audiobahn AW1200Q 12" 700 watt rms and 1000 watt max power for my amp would it work together really good?
