I am going to replace my current subs and amp. I am looking for a sub that has an RMS of 300-400 and effienciy of at least 95 db and a top mounting depth of lower than 6.5 inches. I am thinking of getting 2 infinity kappa perfect 12's, but if you have any other suggestions, where i can get two good subs for 300 bucks, by all means, let me know. Thanks

elemental designs has 2 subs in that range the kx series and the k series both onj clearance with 3 year warranty here]

Sounds like it could be RCA wire short.Unplug RCAs from the sub amp and see what happens.

I have decided to go with the infinity kappa perfect 12's. I want to power it with a good amp. I was thinking the Kicker kx850.2? Is this a decent amp? considering I found it for $280.00?
