I have two 12" 500- watts max Pioneer subs. What size amplifier should I get for these??? model TSW34C Thanks Replies (2) asplundher on 04/20/2004 19:21:53 These are rated at 150 rms (continuous) each and are pretty efficient. The max rating is for a short burst and is very insignificant towards choosing a amp. I would go with a monoblock sub amp with a rating of about 300rms at 2 ohms since they are 4 ohm subs. The JBL 300.1 would be a perfect match them and would be an inexpensive choice. Another one @ $129 (Crutchfield) is the US Acoustics USB-600D with similiar power ratings @ 2 ohms yet with a 3 year warranty. Either will be good for them. swez on 04/20/2004 19:58:52 Good choice of amps for these subs. Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
