Hi I have a 97 Bonneville and I just got the battery changed, but now my head unit won't play and the light that says(lock) or something is on. It is a factory cd Boss system I think. How do I get it to come back on. I'm sure it's a security issue.. thanks

Did you change the battery - or did you have it done somewhere?
If you did it yourself - best of luck determining the problem, if you had it done somewhere - Go tell them they messed it all up and they MAY know how to fix it.

You may have to call a dealership and find out the code for enabling the HU again. Am pretty sure it is a security feature... but I am not up on that feature and how you do it yourself.
Just make sure you learn the technique too. That way you can do this yourself if you every had to pull the plug again for repairs etc.
Ttocs may have an fix for your problem.... he's pretty sharp on HU installs and troubleshooting same.
