How do I uninstall a factory stereo for a 94' Ford Tempo???

If it is the usual Ford HU, there is a set of "U" clips needed to remove the unit with ease. You can get this tool at WalMart, Auto Zone etc for just a few bucks.
There are 4 square holes, 2 on either side of the HU face. The clips go into these holes with a light "snap". Once inserted, gently flex the clips outward a few degrees and gently tug on the clips to remove the HU from its housing. May have to wiggle things a bit, but go easy on the clips so you don't damage any retainers.
