Am i using the rite Wiring for the amp?

Hey there...brbrI have just bought an apline MRV 450 amplifier and bought autoleads PC4 27.....now i m not sure whether i m using the rite wiring or not.The amp requires a fuse of 50 amp....and the wiring has a 60 amp one....many people are advising that it doenst matter i should go with it.Can anyone please tell me whether i should be using this wiring or not or what are the other alternatives if i am not suppose to use this one?brbrthanksbrchursy

For a 50 amp load, #8 gage wire is adequate if under 15 feet long. However, if you ever upgrade to a larger amp or use more than one, you'll be yanking it out and installing larger wire.

So, plan ahead for upgrades and use #4 gage wire. This is good up to 100A and you can still fuse it at 60A if you wish for now.
