How do I remove the factory radio on 200 subaru forester?

Any body know the "proper" way to remove the factory stereo on 200 subaru forester?

Get a hook tool and gentley pri the center and there should be a screw or the compartment right above the shifter be gentle and that should pop off easy and from there its all self explanatory.
