ive been really looking into toyota celica's the last few days since the grand prix took a dump on me. i was wondering if there is enough room to place my 2 15 subs in a celica? more than likey will have to do some modification to the box, because its extremely big. i want the celica style from 95-96 around there, the longer body style. dont have to reply would just be nice if ya had any input thanx Replies (4) Swez on 05/16/2003 17:25:04 Nice car the Celica.... very reliable and easy on gas too. Once you find the model you like, take a YOYO with you and measure the trunk space available... then you will know what to do about your present sub box. Best I can say, unless you can get specs on that style car from a web site. Am sure they are out there... try asking Big Bear Dog at CAK forum as he seems to be pretty good at getting those details. http://pub51.ezboard.com/fcaraudioknowledgefrm1 Swez ttocs on 05/18/2003 23:35:27 Try looking through the member pages of sound domain.. If it can be done, it will show it in there. But really now 15's in a celica? A good pair of tens, maybe some 12's would pound like all, ya know... I remember I did a simple powered ten add on to a factory system(8's in the doors) that was loud as heck... It does not take much to be too much in a car like that..... compvr15s on 05/19/2003 12:15:56 yea i agree it may be a lil much but thats what i have right now and i have no money to buy 12s or 10s. too bad i dont still have my 12 inch solo L7s it would be alot easier to fit them in their. Swez on 05/20/2003 08:27:52 Get some measurement of the sub box space available and then we can help you figure out your options. Also, what amp are you running the 15's with now? May have some power manqagement issues to address in this car design. Especially if using a large amp and small ALT/BAT.
