Ok, first off I am new to DIY stereo installs, but you have to start somewhere. I have a cheap DHD Power Cruiser in dash DVD. (Got it as a gift and I'm just sticking it in an old Landcruiser) Anyway, there is a wire that is supposed to be run to the emergency brake. Does hit s mean run it to the switch that turns the brake light on and off? If so, what is it for? Does it cut off the DVD when the brake is not set? Is there a bypass to this? I plan on installing the screen in the back for the kids, so I WANT it to work when driving. Any hints on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
