alterantor?

ok i ask some about this awhile back but i'm about ready to purchase one in the next week or so... first off i'm going to be running a phoenix gold tantrum series 1200.1 amplifier fused at 100amps and a avionixx 800.4 amp fused at 100amps both of these amps are very effiecient and the avionix is rated at 12.5 volts and the phoenix gold is rated at 14.4 volts the by my calculations the phoenix gold is going to be pulling around 90+amps but the avionix digital amp should only be pulling 60 or so that makes around 160amps i well be pulling at a decent volume. i dont plan to be playing this at more then 50% volume bvery often.. so would a 200amp alternator be enough? if so would it be ok to buy one off ebay such as this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33573&item=2469330751

or would it be better to get a name brand or custom built one? i can get one from a company in town that makes custom alternators all high quality parts for 350$ but if i could get the one on ebay for 200$ that would be alot saved i just dont want to get that one if its not going to do as well.

200 amp should be enough, might think about a better battery as well. I do not know what are the good or bad names, someone else can help ya there..

That looks like a winner to me. These guys gut the whole case and rebuild from scratch.

Get the lifetime warrantee too... well worth a few extra bucks as I have replaced mine a few times over the years with only shipping costs.

till you mentioned it i didnt notice the lifetime warranty thats a hell of a deal and about the only thing that was keeping me from buying that one was the 10 year unconditional warranty that i would get from buying a 350$ one from the shop here in town thanks swez and ttocs
