I was wondering if anyone has removed the dash of an xc-90, or if someone could tell me how to remove it in order to mount a harness for my 2 amps. thanx

I can't find any direct shots of the dash. It looks like the typical large volvo radio. Those stink to get out. There are four slits on the side of the radio. There is a special tool that you instert, and then with four hands(it really is a two person job) you have to carefully press the tools toward eachother, and work the radio out. IT should take 1 min, but always ends up taking longer after some cursing...

the only place i see that there may be the "slots" I was talking about are under the knobs.

Many of the new Volvos are DIN
all you need is a set of DIN tools and you slide it in the holes along the side of the deck and pull it back out.
Some stock decks have covers where the DIN holes are you will have to look for these.
I am not sure that volvo uses special DIN tools I think they are standard.
