Hi I was wondering if anybody could give me hand in finding out what brand/specs. my factory speakers are in my car. I drive a 1993 Plymouth Acclaim, the factory HU had equilizer controls and a crappy cd player on it. I've tried looking on the internet but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Murph

Most stock speakers are pretty cheap and low power. Generally 15-20 watts RMS is rating, but usually high efficiency in low midrange area. They may also be an odd ohm rating in the rear as well. GM often uses 10 ohm drivers in the rear to compensate for cabin gain effects of the trunk. Not sure how Chrysler does this to balanance front & rear speaker output SPL.

PS Several speaker makers may supply speakers for Chrysler per their specs. Infinity offers the high end of the line. The rest are made all over the world or USA. Oxford Speaker, (Chicago) used to make a ton of speakers for Chrysler products, back in the early 80's.
