I need to get some answers about a setup I have I presently am running 2 Autotek xs1500.1 amps and 2 12 Alphasonik 812 900 rms subs in a 4.1 ft3 ported enclosure subs want hold power need 2 more looking for suggestions on subs br Replies (2) cplkittle on 03/21/2004 21:38:48 That sounds like a decent setup, what exactly is the problem? If you are looking to add two more subs, I would HIGHLY recommend using the same model that you currently have. swez on 03/22/2004 08:29:38 AMPS: XS-1500.1 Class-D Mono Block with Dual 2 Awg. The web site has sealed or BP designs in production... but no ported designs. You may be experiencing over load of watts to each sub when you really crank it up. In a ported box, it takes much less power to reach X-max (maximum excursion limits) on a sub. The subs are rated at 900 watts RMS each, so in a ported enclosure, you may hit X-max at 750 watts per sub. Say more please... Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
