In a few weeks I'm buying my fathers Grand Prix gtp off him and he has the Bose sound system. I want to hook my amp and sub that I currently have now, but I do not want to remove the factory hu because it has an equilizer and steering wheel controls which i like and want to keep. So would it be possible to hook up a sub and keep all the factory speakers and head unit? the sub and amp I would be hooking up is a RF 201s Punch amp and a 12"Alpine typeS Sub. And just for curiosity, is their and head unit that would allow me to keep the steering wheel controls??

thanks,
Murph

With some factory stereos you can tap off of the rear speakers, with a speaker level to RCA level converter. With the BOSE type system, I don't know.

there is a hrns made for bose systems that plugs in and allows for rca outputs. Check your local dealer, or crutchfield.
