I am trying to install a cd changer into the existing stereo on a 2000 Escort. The only wires coming out of the changer is a red, pink, and black. There are a couple of red wires with a different colored stripe on each one in the factory wiring harness and I'm not sure which red one to splice into.
Any help would be super....Thanks!

unless you have the factory chngr, you will need an adaptor, and the proper cd chgr. What kind of chgr is it?

It's not a factory changer but says it can just be hooked to existing factory stereo. It seemed like an easy enough install execept for that wire that I can't match up. What is the adapter that you are referring to?
