It seems like a pretty good deal. I don't really have the funds for a top notch JBL. So would be a good alternative? I don't have the subwoofers picked out yet I am working on getting an amp first that way I have some limits to what to what subwoofers I can get. Replies (2) ttocs on 03/8/2004 11:08:33 I have not heard good things about lanzar for some time, particularly their vibe series..... I would not own one or recommend one.... swez on 03/8/2004 11:30:30 The price is fair if the amp is in good condition. Have you heard the system he has with this amp installed? I am not a big Lanzar fan either... but if it worked OK for him and you like it, see if he'll let you borrow it for a time to try out before you buy. From the specs noted, see about 800 - 1000 watts RMS when bridged to a 4 ohm load. Will have to use a pretty hefty single sub that is either 4 ohm SVC, or a 2+2 DVC. Not too many 4 ohm SVC's out there that can take that much power. The sub will cost much more than the amp when you are done... or use 2 DVC, (4+4) subs will works as well. Swez PS This amp will suck a lot of amperes from your electricals as it is a Class A/B amp. Do you know the fuse ratings used here? Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
