Hi Walt,
Not sure if you can do anything about this one... but it would sure be nice to have a paging or "ping" on the chat site to alert those standing alone in the endzone, when new folks enter the chat room.
I find it best to open a 2nd browser to chat room, do the board and check back to chat for newcomers. That leaves me in the room for extended periods of time and still work the board or other research items.
Any thoughts on that one?

What I plan to do is to write our on version of Live Chat Help. For Golds who chose to do it, when they log in, a Live Chat Link will appear in our menu like
Live Chat Swez
Live Chat cplkittle
etc
What do you think of that idea?

That would be helpful... just if the golds are involved, those who are not golds will not have visability unless we go to chat room.
The activity level in the chat room is good and getting better. Folks have access to online help in a realtime format. A step in the right direction to be sure... but a "ping" to online members in the chat room, would be a great tool. Calls Golds to the chatroom if they are busy elsewhere, but have a browser open to the chatroom.
