If you have a power antenna feature on this vehicle, can tap into the relay that activates the up antenna feature for FM listening.

However, if you have a CD system and the antenna lowers when CD is playing, best option is to run a remote power switch to the amp REM lug. Can hook this to the ACC/IGN block in the fuse panel or use a remote lighted toggle switch and do this manually.

The lighted toggle is nice as you know when the amp is getting power. When the switch is off, the light goes out and so does power to amp if wired properly.

Be sure to fuse this wire as well. A 1A fuse is more than adequate for REM turn on.

Afterthought... some of the new amps have signal sensor capability. When the amp senses incoming audio signals from the HU, the amp will turn on w/o a separate remote feed. Check your amp manual for that detail and see if this amp has that feature. Some do, some do not.
