If you have bought your system online what sites did u buy from. Have you had any bad experiences buying online and if so could you please explain. What should i look for from a site when buying. And finally what sites should i look at, at what not to look at. Please let me kno so i can be more aware sense im new at buying of the internet and i want to convince my mom to let me. Thanks

I have bought online and know many other have as well. In fact, most of the better prices on car audio are off the web.
Most folks I've talked to who have bought off Ebay, were pleased and got what they asked for. A few have reported shipping damages, but those are usually cleaned up pretty fast if you check the cartons when they arrive. If damaged boxes, don't let the delivery guy go until you have examined the contents.
Also, many sites have toll free order numbers you can call and give credit/debit card information via the phone. But with today's 128 bit encoding on secure sites, pretty hard to get ripped off by someone stealing your card info. Then there's PayPal too.
If you want a for certain web site to buy from, Crutchfield is probably the best in the business. Not the best prices... but they do a very good job servicing their clients, offer great warrantee and very good technical support to their customers. Same with Parts Express.
OK, I'll step aside and let others comment on their buying experiences.

Yes, I bought most of my current system off of ebay. Great experience overall. I ended up finding a seller in my area, so i met him at the mall and didnt have to pay shipping on my 3 10w0s, $175 isnt too bad considering i just saw the same thing in car toys for 400 on clearance. I got my MTX amp off ebay. I bought my wiring from knukonceptz.com, thats some good stuff there, I highly recommend it.

I have bought all my equipment online. My amp I got used off of ebay, my componants I got gently used from a guy online.. If you know what to look for, it is safe.
