OK, I just looked up some retail prices on the stuff I recently bought and compared that to what I actually paid: 2 Infinity kappa perfect 10" subs: Actual-$95 ea Retail-$270 ea 1.1 Farad digital MK capacitor: Actual-$47 Retail-$99 Custom 1.2 cu ft enclosure for Dakota: Actual-$150 Retail-$240+ Avionixx AXT 800.4 Actual-$303 Retail-$799 2 CDT CL 61 components: Actual-$150 Retail-$300 That's a total of $1978 Retail and $840 Actual!! This is not including the money saved by installing it all myself and the cost of my HU, wiring, or the amp I already had that's powering the components. I know that no one's realy going to pay the retail price for all of those (I hope), but it's fun to look up the stuff and say "I have a system that's worth over $2000 that cost me less than $1000!".
