it was mentioned in another question that a Bose OEM system contained low level connections on the factory HU. i haven't worked on any vehicles that have had low level outputs on an OEM HU. they usually run high level inputs to the OEM amplifier. are there really low end outputs on these HU's? i think this is a great idea for OEM HU's. this makes aftermarket sound integration extremely easier. has anyone else discovered this?

I have not seen that yet.. there is an adaptor that allows for rca connections comming off the hrns.

Most OEM HUs will not have pre-outs because that allows people to take the factory stuff out and replace it, which they do not want.
