Will this setup work??

I have been out of the car audio game for 10 years now but I recently came across a system for sale. I was wondering if this would blow any of my speakers or amp because I have not installed a system in so long. Here is the setup:

A class D Audiobahn mono amp wired to two dual voice coil Audiobahn 4 ohm subs. The amp is listed as 1500W RMS x 1 at 1 ohm and the subs are 800 Watt RMS at 2 ohm. What I want to do is run the amp to EACH voice coil on EACH sub. Is there a good chance that I would blow these speakers or fry the amp or could I run this and not blow anything up.

Yes, this will work, 4 4ohm voice coils wired in parallel gives you 1 ohm, which the amp will handle. also this is a very close RMS/RMS matchup. You should be very pleased with this setup.

You said the VCs were 4 ohm but you also said 800w RMS at 2 ohm. If that is true then it is likely they could take 1600w? at 1 ohm? That would not match up to well if that is the case. I am sure it could be wired someway to work but I am just confused I guess.
