The 2 12" jls will definatly pound harder. But they cost a hell of alot more too. How much are you planning on spending?

Without a doubt the JL's, they can make sick sound, and much bettr quality and i think even a bettr sensitivity...but ur lookin at alot of cash and money

Ok im wrong....again, Oh well

I guess Ryan it depends on what u could afford but for 300-350 i think u could probably get bettr subs than the Audiobahn, i got one of theyre amps and im pleased but look maybe at Phoenix Gold or maybe Adire audio Brahmas (Right Swez?????) and i personally like Infinity Perfects, u lookin at SPL or Sq?

so i can prolly get sum money back from tradin those in for a W7 at this place but then i need to find a pretty powerful amp

It basically all comes down to 2 things, what are you trying to acheive, and how much you have to spend. Do you want loud, (spl) or better sound quality (sq). You also have to factor in a big system may require electrical system upgrades, like a bigger battery and a more powerful alt.

Both subs are pretty good for general bass applications. But if you plan to compete in SPL comps, the JL will definitely take the power.

Have you figured out how many watts of amping power you plan to use and what SPL target you are shooting for? Once you have that issue figured out and a budget # for all this gear, then sub choices can be made.

Personally, there are many very good subs out there for much less than the JL L7. Also, look carefully at the install steps for using this JL sub. You have to remove the trim collar, peel back the surround, then screw in the basket... and reset the trim ring. Do you really want to do al that extra work? I would not!

Finally, do consider Eclipse, RF, Alpine Type R's, Adire Brahma, Infinity Perfect and there are many other great subs out there too.

Think over your goals and budget, them come back with those details and we can help sort out your options.
