Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me? I have an Alpine M-500 amp, it's all digital and just stopped working. It's getting power and turns on and everything, but isn't putting out any amperage. No sound either. I was going to see if anyone could help before I spend money to get it fixed.

Have you tested the wires coming out to make sure it isn't putting anything out?

Yeah, nothin comin out, the whole amp is digital and tells me whats what, getting like 13.6 Volts but no Amps

I persume you have already checked the fuses on the amplifier but this is what we all fear. AMP lights come on but no output. Lets first check all the possibilites before anything else.
1. fuses
2. Make sure you have a good ground!!!!
3. All wires are correctly placed and tightened well.
If you decide it's broken and and want to order a new one please post the specs on your subwoofers so we can get you setup with another amplifier! Please post what you have to spend also.

Warranty? what's a warranty? haha, j/k. It got thrown away at a party when some girls decided my car was too messy..GRR..but on the bright side of life, i got an Orion 300 watt comp. amp for $40 from a friend and im borrowing a Punch Z 12" from another friend so i don't go crazy.

May need to have the amp bench tested if power, ground and REM is OK. Also, depending on what subs you have now and how they were wired to the amp, may have some bearing on what may have failed.
The MRD-500 is Class D mono amp. Lots of toys and gizzmos here for monitoring and filtering bass signals. It will handle a 2 ohm load safetly, but if you have DVC's less than 2 ohms, may have fried your power supply or output transistors. Figure ~$60 bench fee and parts and 2 weeks in the shop if you are lucky.
