Too Much?

I've got a few options in my next 240sx project. Currently I'm running Peerless 5-1/4 midbass coupled with Massive 1" silk domes up front with the same midbass less tweeters in rear off. These are running off a US Acoustics 4065. I have three barely used 10" Dayton Thrusters (200 rms) that I can run for subs (more than likely; will use just one). I have an original Cadence 45 (about ten years old and still kicking!) that runs about 140 rms bridged. Also, I have a Punch 150 (very first series!). Do you think the Punch will be too strong for one bridged? I'd love to have the extra headroom but, I'm not into abusing equipment as you can see. The Cadence runs strong but, more power would be nice. If none of the above works out, then I plan on getting two 8ohm 8" Kickers and run them off of the Punch. The 8's would couple better with the Peerless but, I'm trying not to get anymore equipment than I already have stockpiled (way too much!). What do you think? SQ is the key here.br

Considering the Punch 45 was a strong amp back then, and their amps were underrated, the Punch 150 may be too large for one of those 10s? I haven't found the specs for the Punch 150 yet to make sure.

Yeah, I thought about that. I'ts a shame to have all this spare equipment laying around and not use it though. I figure the 150 to be about 300 rms bridged. How much underrated they are is a good question. The cadence is a very clean amp, but I have popped the fuse on occasion when the bass peaks at full volume. For a long time I've always ran about half or a little more of the rms required. This time I want to try feeding ample power to one for better control. I just will have to be carefull at loud volumes. That should not be hard for I'm quite sure I will be pleased way before I should have to turn it all the way up. I'll keep you posted.
