I recently put a 600 watt Pyramid amp & 2 300 watt Pyramid subs in my Xterra. I installed them, along with a Jensen head unit, myself. The system worked fine for a couple of weeks, but now no sound comes from the subs & the power light on the amp barely comes on when the head unit is turned on ( then it fades totally out). I swapped out the amp with one I had laying around, still nothing out of the subs, however the power light stayed lit on this one. I also used new wire to connect to the low out and this did not make any difference. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have put systems in other vehicles & not had any problems, but this one's got me stumped. Thanks in advance. Keep us posted on what you have/ have not checked, and we will help any way we can. buckeyebob on 02/5/2004 07:15:26 I finally got around to checking the wiring & found it to be the power wire. Apparently there was a problem at the fuse holder, as I replaced this part with one from a sytem awaiting install in another vehicle. Thanks for the suggestions.
