I installed the Alpine XM radio but have a lot of static. Audio installer says that there are too many electronics on the new car. He has given up.
Any suggestions on how to reduce static & interference in this car?

does mounting the antenna in a different area affect the clearity of reception?? i have never heard of too many electronics in a car, i would return the stuff if you bought it from that dealer and goto somebody that will work on it till the problem is fixed instead of giving up. id just make sure everything is wired right and grounded well. good luck barry
