What would someone buy a non-functioning amp for? There is a JBL BP600.1 that is non-functioning for sale on ebay and the bids have gone from $4.99 to $24.95 on it so far. What would one want with it?

more than likely the bidders already have the same amp. and maybe thiers has some components inside that took a dump, the amp on ebay might just have a bad power supply and the one they own may have a bad circut board,so they may be able to just move the power supply from one to ther other, for less than 30 bucks it would be good if it works. others may just want to buy the amp cheap and send it in and pay for it to be repaired, not sure if they require proof of purchase when doing repairs. thats my guess anyways but i dunno

I e-mailed them to ask if they knew what was not functioning on the amp and they said it was "Blown" Know what that could mean?

sounds to me like they arnt sure if they just said blown... that could mean the power supply or a capacitor or any number of components blew in the amp...
