MmMmM just got it in today, and whoever says this amp is ugly....u suck!!! this amp is dead sexy, nice n compact....I have sunday off....im going to goto home depot. to get some MDF....and build a box for one of the PG Ti15D's. then throw it in the kia, see how it sounds. Ive changed box plans......1.6cf is going to be the box size 1.4 after displacement. measured everything, and ive still got a decent amount of trunk space left!!! (this box is actually going to be ~the same size as the box i have now for the 2 10's) I cant wait!!

Yea, I'd be interested in how you like it as well.
I plan on getting that amp soon and then getting two Alpine SWR-1041D subs to go with it (thanks to munchies' advice in another post).
I like the looks too, but (in my oppinion) who realy cares about looks?
I want great sound and to have people ask where the hell I fit the subs!

i got it for $220 shipped and tax from ikesound.com cheapest i could find it for. got the box 98% done. just need to put one more side panel on it and cut the sub hole, and the termanal hole. funny, it cost me $24 and change for everything. one tip tho... DO NOT let the home depot guys cut ur wood for u... i did and eneded up only bein able to use 2 of the pices he cut (6) total....had to cut the rest with my tabel saw. jig saw blade was dull when i finally got around to cutting the hole....so i said screw it ill do it tommrow....looks good tho.....lots of elmers wood glue.....and screws (1 5/8 coarse drywall screws) spaced ~2 1/2 - 3 inches apart

i just got it done and hooked it up. its loud. very loud. EXTREAMELY loud. and sounds damned good to. ended up with 48 screws in the box, gobs of glue. and lots of caulking. it rattles my teeth at volume 9 with bass boost all the way off. and bass on the HU at 0 and BBE (JVC's bass boost on the HU) on 0. and gain at 1/4 the way up. this amp is deffiently worth the $220 i paid for it. I had a couple friends over, one of them wouldnt even get in the car he was scared of the bass. one hoped in and hoped out when it got to 25 on the HU. mind you, this is with the gain at 1/4 the way up. thanks everyone for your help. this rules!

I too have this amp, I have had it for about 2 years and it is a great basic amp. It does not have any of the bells and whistles but it does have a good $$$ per watt ratio.
