Some of you might have remembered me talking a few months ago about going off on my neighbors kids after a mountain bike was stolen out of my garage. It was the exact same bike(make and model) as what was in the photo. Also notice that the shipping address is MD, but pay attention to the background of the photos. I am not from nor really been to MD, but I am willing to guess that there are not alot of palm trees there. Is there anyone on here from Baltamore that could possibly offer to go see this bike to find out if it is actually there?

There are alot of things on the bike that I put on after the fact that I can kinda make out in these photos such as the seat, and there is a plastic plug missing from one of the handle bars as well. Too they didn't take the pic from behind the car for the licence plate....

I did send an email with a different return address then I usually use asking what shipping would be to my old address in indiana, and to see a pic of the serial number so I could check it. I really don't expect a responce but it is worth a try.....

Anyone else have any ideas?

Link doesn't work but if it looks that much like yours then I would find out more. Do you recognize the car?

Interesting... this could turn out to be a real detective story.

If you are 90% or better sure it is yours, maybe a few of us can hit that link for more details and snag your poacher.

Hummmm, tried the link and it went dead. Can you contact ebay with that reference and explain your case and see if they have a theft/fraud department that can help you track down the seller and maybe the new buyer?

you can enter the ebay auction number in the ebay search and it pulls up. i'll try again.

I sent him a letter saying that I though it was mine, and he had 24 hrs to return it, or contact me with pics of the serial number, seat and wheels(i replaced all those items). Check out car audio knowledge, I posted a copy of the letter on the general conversations.

Last night there were 2 vw jettas at the neighbor kids house, but they were not the same. I will know the car when I see it, they may or may not see me comming...........

Hmm, that sure doesn't look like Maryland... Hopefully you can come up with something. Have you tried to ask ebay about it?

I got a responce and he was all pissy. If I was in his shoes I would just simply show the serial number, and say goodluck... There is no reason to pissy if it is legitimatly his....

So he wouldn't give you the serial and all?
