HI there, I recently tried to hook-up my alpine 5957 changer to my friend's 1997 Honda (alpine) CRV head unit. (8 pin dIN on head unit)
I could not control it from his head unit. Then i tried my 5959s since i thought the changer was bad. Well, now both of them make poping or crackling sound when the CD is tracking ahead or the magazine is swapping CDs. What have i done to these units and how can i fix them. Anybody with similar experience or can guide me? what component is damaged? Email me at donaldholder@hotmail.com
