.. if you don't remember i have the 2 - 12L7 kickers .. is their really a big difference between the w6v2 and the w7 ?? i don't really think it's smart to spend like $1200 on two subs like the w7 ... the w6v2 are pretty expensive too .. geeze i really want to get some new subs already I really want to get into JL audio because of their reputation but they are just too expensive .. what other subs could hang with JL audio and aren't as expensive,, any suggestions would help .. as far as money i have enough to buy 2 13w7 but i don't want to because i dont think its worth it to spend all that money on two subs ... if anything tell me a good sub that i can buy three of or something because my kickers aren't hanging anymore ..

we have a car in the shop now with 4 10" w3's that pounds. Their high end is very good, their middle of the road is also very good...

Look into a couple of these subs, they will all be pretty damn close to the performnce of the W7(in some peoples opinion some of them outperform it) and some of them cost half as much.

My personaly preferance would be towards the 12A or the Magnum. They take less power to run them and cost a little less than the other two listed. I own a 12A and it is every bit as good as a 12W7. Also don't let the 600W rating on the Magnum fool you. It will take well more than that for a daily driver. My deiciding factor betwwen those two was box size. The ed's will work well in smaller boxes than what the SI sub requires.

Adire Brahma subs are the way to go if you are really serious thundering bass. Check out the site www.Adireaudio.com these subs are no joke! They compete in subwoofer competions pretty good stuff. They definatly can compete with the JL's if not better!
The 12's are $379 ea. and are rated at 1600watts RMS

What is it that makes you unhappy about the Kickers you have now and how much amping power are we talking about here?
All the subs noted by snipes are definitely top shelf performers. Not cheap, but less than a set of JL 12W6v2's or 13W7's.
Please go deeper into your final destination here OK?

^ditto^ but also check out the Adire Audio Shiva, i have heard it compared to a W6v2 but one thing....better, $125 shipped from adireaudio.com. dual 8ohm VC's so 2 of them could net you 2 ohms add a decent 600-1000w amp (depeneding on box) and your set.
