I am consulting with a guy who is looking at pulling his premium stock Infinity HU out of his 3rd Gen Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. (2001)

He tells me it has outboard amps and is wondering how to remove this one and installing an Alpine CDA-7998.

This model has no internal amps and he plans to install a 4 channel and Mono sub amp to power his speakers as well.

Would you mind giving him a quick e-mail to discuss the ins and outs of what he is up against? I dont have that knowledge and would hate to steer him in the wrong direction.
