Have this cd player I bought on ebay that was working before they sent it to me - now after install cycles for 10-15 sec & gives E01 error. Got any words of wisdom on how to correct problem?

what kind of cdplayer is it, and did you get a manual with it?
That should give you a list of errors.
if you didn't get an owners manual, try a lens cleaner, most of the time E01 or error 1 is "disk unreadable"
