Now i was at a store earlier that demo's all kinds of JL, i love the w7, but i'm thinking the w6v2 is pretty much the same exact thing, but 300 bucks less.... I mean it doens't AS hard, but.... 300 dollars.... Right now i have 2 12 old crappy pioneer's, and 2 crappy kenwoods in my car, hookd up to a crappy rockford... It's a little much for my car, but i spent 150 bucks in dynamat, So i was wondering w6v2, or w7? Are they even worth getting? Replies (2) Jarrod on 12/28/2003 07:32:21 my guess is that youll be fairly happy with either. (understatement). Jarrod. swez on 12/28/2003 12:08:16 If you have the cash to float a good amp, the W-7 is a fine sub. However, the W6 series is no slouch either, at much less cost. If you were investing in a premium car audio system and building it pieces at a time, I would still go the W6 route. Can always add a 2nd W6 later to give you more bass. Think this thing through a bit before you buy anything. Have a plan of what you want in your entire system when done, then work back from their as your guide. We can help you find great deals on less expensive gear that will still sound great... but if you gotta have JL...dig deep pal, 'cause these will be costly.
