ok im building a box for a 96 s10 regular cab putting in 2 10" audiobahn
the box will be 13 h x 50 w x 4 td x 7.5 bd outside dimensions with a calculated 1.372 airspace minus a brace in the middle of the box im trying to figure out the length of the board that the subs will be mounted in i drew this box in 1/4 scale and came up with 14" as the measurement of this board also im going overlap the back and front board so im thinking that the top depth board will be 2.5" instead of 4" and the bottom depth board will be 6" instead of 7.5"
im going to use one terminal as im wiring my subs into a 4 ohm load and im thinking that i will fill the box with 50% polyfill
just thought i would see if u guys thought this was all correct and if it will sound good
thanks for all ur input

I assume this is a sealed box. Are you seperating the airspaces for each sub, or are they sharing the total airspace?
Also, what type of wood are you using, and how thick is it?
50% poly sounds right, most audiobahns call for that, but you can adjust that amount according to your preference in sound.

well i was going to share the airspace these subs have a recommended airspace of .53 to 1.06
3/4 mdf

That should do fine.
Do look at the speaker mounting depth, make sure you have enough room inside the box, you need to leave close to 1" from the back of the sub to the back of the box.

the mounting is 4 5/8 so that gives me plenty of room

oh yeah it is a sealed sorry bout that
