Does anyone have any ideas for anti-theft screws to mount the amp. If someone can point me in the right direction that would be great. thanks.

You could just file the two adjacent sides of the screws so that they can only be tightened and not loosened.

Or just over tighten the screws so you strip the head of the screws.

Someone would have to use a drill to get the screws out and I'm guessing that if someone is planning on stealing some car audio stuff, they wouldn't think to bring a drill with drill bits.

those are good ideas. Is there anything less permanent ? all the web sites that carry security screws have a huge minimum order. I was hoping for something that would require a special bit or tool.

you could use torx screws (star shaped).. not many people carry around torx drivers. or most hardware stores will have those one way flathead screws like you see in the public restroom stalls. That would be the most professional looking in my opinion.

yeah I was thinking about the one way screws. After searching all day I was able to find what I was looking for though. Thanks for the help.

they also make reverse thread wood screws, but they are hard to find. That may not prevent theft altogether, but it will keep them busy scratching their heads for awhile.

LoL, reverse thread? that might be amusing to mount a video camera and watch GRIN
