Hope you are getting quality information off this site and if you do your own work, this will save you tons of cash.
This site cost $$ to maintain and if you want your needs met, questions answered and a great place to hang out and learn something, there are costs involved.
If you have a few spare bucks after your install is completed... show your appreciation by making a modest donation to this site.
The information you get is priceless, but the cost of operating this site each month, takes some degree of support from the users.
Am not asking anyone to dig deep... but a little from many users, will keep this site active for a long time. Think of it as a favorite magazine you get once a month.... a little here, a little there and the site remains heathy and thriving.
Do what you can, as you can... so we can stay on line to help you. We don't make a dime as Admins, Mods & Golds... just do it 'cause we want you all to know what you are doing and why.
If that is worth something to you... toss a few bucks in the "kitty", to keep the site operational.
Thanks guys... I know many of you can help the site, just as we try to help you. A little donation by many will do the trick!

Provide the services that people need and have success doing what they learn, well worth a few dollars to maintain a quality and informative site.
As Co-founder of another car audio site, we established a contribution program there as well. Has been adequately funded ever since we ran into a "glitch" that was quickly solved by numerous donations. To date, the site is in the black and adequate funds are banked to operate for 1 more year.
Thanks Walt, for providing such a great site to all that come. If CK keeps the programming side going, allows others to help out and support our readers, the funds will come as needed. We just need to let our readers know the needs to keep it all going.
In short, give people what they want, show them something they can use and they will come. It's not too much to ask others to participate in funding as well.
THE VALUE IS IN HOW MUCH TIME AND MONEY THEY SAVED BY DOING THE WORK THEMSELVES AS THE RESEARCH TOOLS AND TECHNICAL HELPS ARE ALREADY IN PLACE.

I am with Swez. I was glad to help out and give a couple of bucks when the other site was at risk. Be just as glad to help out here, but at the end of the month. I put myself in a bit of a money crunch, bought 8 tickets to fleetwood mac($125 ea), but scalping is leagal in az.....

I do not get alot of advise on here myself but I do enjoy being able to help all the others from doing the same stupid stuff I did(be it audio or life related). The work you do for no monitary gain for yourself is appreciated. Keep up the good work, let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

You should advertise/auction information as well, Walt.. $5.00 lets you know the website where you can get any car audio related question answered, with friendly helpful advice from numerous people who have alot of experience answering these questions.
Or we could all get together and write a book

for anyone that wants to donate, let's say $150-$200 I will build them a custom box for free. It will have to be a removeable type box, as I obviously can't do a false wall or custom fit without the vehicle. And they will either have to pick it up in person or pay hefty shipping fees. After almost 9 years on this site, it has been one of the most informative, user friendly and most helpful sites I have tried to date. Looks like you see the same... it's all good!
