At one time I was into the Car Audio Scene and installed a few in my time. Although I would enjoy in the future a fairly complicated audio system, my time is limited.

These days I am more into programming langages for the PC mainly because it's what I do for a living and in the Spare Time, if there is such a thing, studing to better my job is my focus.

Someday soon however we'll take our new found knowledge and build that "CK Car Audio Van" and sport it now and then...

I have my H.A.M License: KE4LWI ( Tech ) so I could repair and test ham gear. I am glad I did because it gave me the basis to cover all electronic devices and a better understanding of electricity.

hehe, Yeah, my name is Derek, Im 17 and i Live in western washington. I got into the car audio scene about a year ago, hehe, came to this board looking to see if volfenhag was any good . I stuck here and learned a lot. I was very dissappointed when the site went down, and was very glad when it came back up. In the time that the site was down, i spent most of my time at car audio central ezboard. I learned a lot of what i know now from them and i owe a lot to them, so i still hang around there a lot. The thing that sets both of these forums apart from the others is that there are not so congested, and everyone is usually very nice, theres no flaming like the other boards.

Im honored to be a gold on this site, and am glad to help with anything i can.

heres my setup:
Subs: 2 JL 12w3s (am selling my 3 10w0s if anyone is interested)
Sub amp: MTX 6152 amp(soon to be JBL 600.1)
HU: JVC KD-SX8350
Front Sound Stage: infinity kappa 4x6 plates
Front amp: USX-4065
Rear Fill: Polk GxR 6x9s
Rear amp: (old pioneer, i dont know model #)

my strengths are mostly anything car audio related, im familiar with most general electrical questions, i've done 4 installs now so im pretty knowledgeable(sp?) in that area as well.

I dont know much about tuning or box design, that would probably be my weakness.

:)

thx for everything walt, swez, ttocs, u guys got me started on all this :)

Well, i must say, i am Honored once again to be a Gold Medal. I was once a Gold Medal here before the site went down, and it is great to be back. I am 18 years old and love car audio, i have been into it since my older brother first bought some Kicker Comp's 12's and a Kenwood amp when i was 13 years old. From there i was hooked to Audio. I play the guitar and love all music.

My Strengths.

General Installation.
Box Building
Fabrication
Have used many different Products and can give honest un-biased opinions.

My System.

1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Ext. Cab 8ft. Bed

Head Unit - Sony Xplod for now, get paid in 2 weeks and will be installing a Alpine 7998

Front Stage- Infinity 6X9's in the Stock door locations. Infinity 5.25 comp. set in Q-Logic ( fiberglass re-inforcred ) kicks.

Rear Stage - Disconnected for better sound stage. Plus there really is no rear fill in a truck

Amps- JBL P180.2, and JBL BP 1200.1, All monster wiring.

And i would just like to Thank Everyone around here, it is a pleasure to be back and be gold once again.

my name is scott(ttocs backwards) and I have been active on the forum for a little more then two years now, maybe approaching three. I worked as a pro installer for 3.5 yrs fulltime until I finished school (associates in electronics), and part time for the last 3 yrs. I can combine what I learned in school, and in the shop to answer most install questions reguarding anything short of product knowledge. Since I do not do it fulltime anymore I follow the brands that I know and want, and do not pay attention to most others.. The shops that I worked in fulltime did alot of alarms and remote starts, keyless entries. We would get an occational fun vehicle that we could get a little creative and have fun with, but not as often as I liked. I was working part time here in arizona at a local shop that did nothing but sweet custom systems, in sweet cars, some of which I have seen in magazines. I was a bit out of my element as I found myself asking questions like"how do you open the door to the ferrari?", and "where is the fusebox in the Rolls Royce?". I was am use to ford chevy and dodge....

I stumble onto this site as I was bored on break one day. I have always enjoyed car audio, and helping others.. My sence of humor tends to be sarcastic most of the time, don't take it personally, its all in good fun!

Swez here... Dave is my name and I have been into audio of all kinds for "many" years. Started out with playing in several Rock bands through HS, Marching band, Concert and a Jazz Band too. Am 47 years young and being around this place, keeps me feeling young too! I too, am honored to be here and part of a growing and alive website! Johnny 5... alive... no dissassemble!

Took up electronics in HS & then college, as I wanted to know how things work and how to fix gear when it went down. Have done a number of Pro Sound installs in my day, HT is pending and have been into Car ausio about 4 years now. Have done some car installs for friends and my own system as well... but that's incomplete to my satisfaction due to time and this car i drive is an electrical nightmare with all the computers and electronic sensors. But I have learned a lot from others out on this and other boards too.

Started dabbling in board activities here at CK (Aug. 99) and was totally hooked on the progress and complexity of todays car audio. My goal, am here to help others be successful in their own installs and help them sort out the options and develop a plan of attack for their install and gear. Am more of a Generalist/Mentor with a fair background in electronics, audio application, system design, component selection and optimizing the system for best results possible.

Have built a few boxes in my day... but always enjoy the process of design, fabrication and the end result is key. I have made some mistakes as I have to learn at times too... but know what works and why!

Finally, co-founded a website (~2 years ago) (EZ-board format) with a former collegue who has since moved on to who knows what??? Anybody remember Mr. Brownstone??? Seems like he is MIA as I have not heard boo from him in about a year. Several of you Golds are on that site as well... glad you came back here too! Is a great site here and we all seem to work very well together. The format is clean and no bashing or excess vulgarity seem required. Thanks for all that guys and much more.

Swez

PS A big thanks to Walt Hargrave for getting back into the forum game. He spends countless hours coming up with ways to make the site better with tools and features we can all use. In order to keep this site going, a little financial support (on a regular basis) from the guys that come here, is key to keeping the site operational. Help us help you guys, by financial supporting the site as you can, with modest donations. We (Golds do the helps for free as does Walt, hosting this site) A little support from the many that come here for information, is easier on everybody... especially our "FEARLESS HOST" Walt! Sorry, could not resist that one Walter...

Hello everyone,

I go by the alias "vicflo" as it has been a name I have carried since I was younger. I am an Audio Engineer/Co-Producer for Perfect Concept Productions (you can see me at www.perfect-concept.com) You might have even have heard some of our music. I am also the webmaster and Admin of that website. I have a bio of me on there as well.

I started car audio back in the early 90s when my brother-in-law showed me a few tips and tricks about installing without doing it the "ghetto" way. So far I have done countless pro-custom installs and made a number of crazy custom boxes (mostly sealed). I got an Associates degree in electronic engineer technology from ITT. I also run several retail websites and planning on starting a few franchises.

The past 3 years I have been doing work with high end and high fidelity music components such as Roland recording equipment, mixers, Alesis, etc... I just basically sit in a studio and listen to the same songs over and over and over... get the point? There is skill when using the equipment as studio speakers alone are about $1200/pair (they are the size of shoeboxes) All this great music and highest sound quality from two little 6½" two-way speakers.

Goes to prove bigger isnt better. Its all in the Box design and Driver design.

I have no idea what else to say...oh yeh did I say I am also a a full time computer geek. (I also build custom computers for my side hobby/job)

I can help you with down to the component level help or just about any general install troubleshooting. I also am pretty good with box building and placement. Building a box to spec isnt always as easy as it seems or looks, I am one for detailed box design as without a box a subwoofer is just a big funny looking magnet.

I can also answer your questions about computers and cars...hehe ;-) Hooking up a laptop or computer to your system will put you at another level above other competitors. (DSP, Testing programs...etc)

Swez .. A little of all. We are really getting more traffic from Yahoo, Google and a mess of others and it's because of the hard work we do here that leave great content for others to use.

Woo hoo, lookie lookie, I've got a gold medalion.

OK, I'm calm again.

Well, I came to the site long ago in the days before Mr. B began sponsoring the old site. (The old timers surely remember when that was). I was looking for some advice on a head unit, when I got much more than I bargained for. I began frequenting the site, and asking many questions, as well as sharing my past experiences. Once the site went down, I began looking for another place to sit down and share/gather knowledge, but was not interested in the political games, flamethrowing, and constant product bashing which plagues most online forums.

Until recently I have been doing a lot of experimentation, and re-evaluation of my audio systems, and decided to see what the online world had to offer once again. To my surprise, Club Knowledge had risen once again, so wallah, here I am.

My knowledge includes:

General installation
Product comparisons with no brand bias
Extensive troubleshooting of electrical problems
Alarms and security

And I know a bit about PCs as well, as my concentration while in school was Computer Information Systems, and I currently test software for a living.

My system currently is comprised of:

2000 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4x4 4dr Victory Red
Optima Red Top
all Rockford wiring
Stock Delco AM/FM/CD HU
CDT CL-6X full range door speakers
CDT CDT-10 1" tweeters
Newly acquired
Earthquake DBX-12
Cadence A7HC

Hey all, my real name is Scott.

I'm currently driving a beat up old Jeep Cherokee, 4 door, 4.0 L straight six.

The modest stereo in it includes:

Pioneer HU,
Interior speakers by Infinity/Perfect 5¼"

Optima Battery
1 12-inch ID Max
1 Concept 800W digi/mono amp

It sounds pretty nice for one 12 I think...

I've done lots of installs, but mostly standard components - nothing too tricky or customized, though someday I hope to have enough money to go nutz on a custom job.

I guess you could say that I'm a mathematician by trade, and since I turned 16 (...5 yrs ago now...) I've always spent ma' time and ma' money toying with my vehicle - or any random electrical / stereo projects.

-> Wir haben die Stereoanlage gelernt.
-> Ich denke wir haben den Leuten das Wissen geschenkt!

Hello everyone,
My name is Brian, but with a background in the USMC, my last name will get more of a response. I recently returned from Iraq (july 2003) this was my first and last deployment. I have 8 years invested in the military, and am happy to be where I am (a civilian again). I am 31 years old, have been messing with car audio since I was 17. Got back into it in early 2002 and found out that everything had changed! I started my first job in car audio in 2002 and have been either full or part time ever since. What sparked my interest in the beginning was custom enclosures. I did a few for my friends and myself and was amazed in the difference over the prefab boxes. I still to this day experiment with enclosure sizes, port lengths and keep a mental note of the differences.

My personal system includes:

HU - Alpine CDA-9835

Front Diamond HEX series 5 1/2 components w/silk tweeters
Rear Diamond HEX series 6 1/2 components w/silk tweeters
Diamond D5 600/4 for front & rear components.

Subs:
1 Diamond D6 10 in a .8 cu ft sealed box powered by a Diamond D5 300.2
2 Diamond D6 12s in a 6 cu ft ported box tuned to 32 powered by a Diamond D5 1200.1.

The HU LPF for the subs is set at 125Hz. The 300.2 HPF is set at 70, so the 10 gets the bandpass of 70-125Hz
The 1200.1 LPF is set at 60Hz, the SSF is at 25Hz.
I have the HU and the amplifier HPF for the fronts set at 100Hz, and the rears at 80Hz.

I have a stinger 200A HO alternator and an Optima Yellow top under the hood. I used Stinger 1/0 wire for the entire system. The ground from the alternator mount to chassis to negative battery post has been upgraded to 1/0, as well as the alternator to positive battery post.

im honered to a gold around here. my name is jake, i just turned 20 and im from amboy Illinois. I have been into car audio pretty much since i have had a car. i wish i would have found this place along time ago though would have saved lots of money and heart ache. in the past i have installed numerous systems, nothing special just HUs, amps, Subs, Speakers. i have some experience with box building, have done one sealed enclosure, and now im working on a dual ported enclosure. im really trying to learn as much as possible, i would love to be in car audio as a profession but its hard around this area, will need schooling and just lots of hands on experience.

strengths:

can figure out just about anything with 12v of juice.

general installs

weakness:
fabrication, havnt done anything like that, no work with fiberglass or and custom looking systems, would love to learn tho

box building, not much experience here, have consumed many hours in boxes that i was un happy with so i disasembled and tossed.

my system-88 pontiac grand prix
HU- Pioneer Premier 750 mp3
front speaks. audiobahn seperates as well as mb quart tweets in the dash.
rear speaks. alpine 3way 6x9s
subs- 2 15inch kicker comp vrs.
amps 2 kicker kx 600 class d amps.
all wire is stinger as well as rcas.

future upgrades
cdt comps upfront
adire audio brahmas 12s
good 2 channel or 4 channel for interior.
maybe an indash dvd player but not until i get a nicer car

once again, thanx to everyone for the help and i hope i helped you as well. thanx walt

I'm extremly proud to be a gold and just hope i can help out half as much as some of the other golds.

Well lets see about me. My name is Shaen(pronouned Shawn) i'am 21 years old... I live in Portland, Oregon. I work in grocery. My true love is car audio though I must have hundreds of drawings l;aying around of boxes and system designs. next summer i plan to get into home audio speaker building as well. i have a friend who has been building his own speakers since the 70's and he well help me design and build my first set of speakers and crossovers for my home.

my strengths would be product knowledge, fabrication, and design.

my weaknesses would be deck instalation and hunting down wireing bugs

My system

a pioneer DEH-p640 deck(extremly happy with)

A set of CDT ef-61cf speakers
they are power by a phoenix gold tantrum 500.2 amp

current sub is a ED 12kx dual 2 ohm sub
running off a avionixx 1200.2 i have the gain set at half so the sub only gets 600watt

audio control EQX this is an amazing piece of equipment

for electricla i have an optima red top battery and an aftermarket 200amp alternator.

futer upgrades are a 12" Av2 ED sub or a 15"A seeries sub from ED
and a cutom box that looks stock and mounts in place of one of my jump seats.

also either a bass cube or an audiocontrol epicenter.

Thanks to everyone here who helped me learn and i hope i can give back what i have recieved here.

Reply Posted: 11/15/2004 14:04:10 by: UKinstaller installation specialist. Louisville, KY

it's definitely an honor to be a gold, and i look forward to discussing car audio with everyone now and in the future.

well, my name is nick. i am 19 and i live in lexington, kentucky. i was born and raised in louisvillle, about an hour away from here, and i attend the University of Kentucky. go cats!! i work at circuit city and have installed there for about 8 months now, and i love my job.

my main areas of specialty are head unit installs, because that's most of what i do at work. i do a bunch of amp/sub installations every week, and speaker replacement. i also do alarms, remote starts, keyless entry, and mobile video. i guess you could say that overall my biggest strength is the actual labor involved with car audio. fot the most part, you hand me something and i can install it.

on the other hand, my biggest weakness is the knowledge BEHIND the stuff i am installing. i could definitely be refreshed in the skills of troubleshooting installation problems and hardware malfunctions, sub wiring, fancy features on head units, etc. All of that stuff bothers me and i wish i knew more about them. definitely topics for discussion on the board.

i just gutted a nice sound system out of a 1992 isuzu rodeo and am beginning work on my 1997 BMW 328is. i currently have a Pioneer AVIC-N1 head unit that i am going to put in it this weekend, and i will go ahead and stick in my Alpine MRD-M300 amp with Boston Acoustic G2 12 inch sub. The plan for the setup that will hopefully be completed around february is as follows:

Head Unit - Pioneer AVIC-N1 DVD/CD/Navigation System

Front Speakers - Rainbow IQ 230.25 Component Speakers, 120w RMS0

Rear Speakers - Not going to be used

Midbass - to be decided after components are in

Amp - 4 Channel Alpine for front speakers and midbass

Amp - JL Audio 500.1 monoblock amp

Sub - JL Audio W7

Monster Wiring

Well, that's it for the system, and that's all there really is to know about me. i'm pretty boring. i look forward to conversing here in the forum with you guys. CK rocks the house.

Hi

My Name is Mr Brownstone, and I'm an alcoho....wait, wrong meeting.

To those that know me, I was the former owner to High Voltage Car Audio, and cofounder of another forum. Our goal was to create a free or low cost forum that regardless of financial concerns, would survive.

I got started on this forum, back when it was just a NO LOGIN required messageboard, and with it, enjoyed the conversation and comradery that accompanied the BOOMing car audio sensation...pun intended. Many of us truly enjoyed learning, sharing, trafficing (car audio, not nose candy) and overall blowing stuff up just to tell everyone the story.

I've been in this industry and Car Audio since the late 80s, and although I'm not as old as Father Audio (SWEZ), I have been known to share quite a bit about products, specs, and the decisions you make to construct, install and properly adjust your systems.

I'm glad to see Walt's kept this ship floating, because for a no or low commerce site, it's hard to keep a good thing going. To date, I still have access to a dozen or more distributors, but don't actively manage or run a car audio store or business of any type.

What I enjoyed the most about this community is that it's a place where anyone can feel comfortable posting. We're basically free of flame wars, and, we ALL willing to help that starter system newbie get some both time and money saving advice on how to put together a great system. We all feed off the energy of each other, and all support each other in making the community a great place to frequent.

Ok...where to start?!? Well, first things first, I am honored to be a gold member here, and even more so that it was at father time's request. My real name is Kyle but I prefer to go by Tink. It is a nickname that has stuck with me since childhood because of my "tinkering" nature. I am 19 years old, I live in Montgomery, Texas.
=========
I got into car audio about 2 years ago, and I first came onto this board asking swez and ttocs about a lanzar amp, sensitivity questions, and amp gains settings. With more than enough help from everyone, I stuck around, stuck my nose in anything I could and eventually learned almost everything I wanted to know. Still learning some myself.
-My strengths would be amps and subs in sealed boxes, HU and amp & sub installation, and almost any physics question you can ask.
-My most major weakness would be ported/vented boxes, I know very little about them, also subsonic filters, and tuning ports.
-Anything not covered by either of those, I am willing to take my best educated stab at it. Although I may not be as capable as swez as far as painting a portrait with words, I can spell better. lol.

Look forward to helping out as usual.

Well let's see.... where should I begin? First of all I'm 35 at the moment (2005). I reside in Panama City, Florida and work as a acid technician by day.

What brought me here was looking for info that the local shops were'nt giving. What made me stay was the amount of info/help that is available. I have done my share of your basic installs and some mildly modified. Been there, done that on the SPL tip, now trying to save the ears on the SQL level. As a lover of music, I gotta have details and accuracy. Loudness is a by-product.

I would say I specialize in the enclosure and speaker aspect, for that is my strongest point. Now I'm on the quest for "hidden" quality parts on a real world budget. This I hope to pass on to those who want and think they can't have. That's what's it all about: helping others.

My name is lessismorespl. I have been involved in car audio since I was 16. It all started at Ollie Fretters, this is back when ABC Warehouse was known as Highland Appliances. So it has been somewhere around
25 years, give or take a handful of months. My first car had a Pioneer H/U and Jensen Triax speakers(those that have been around know Jensen speakers were top-of-the-line in the old days). This was before Pioneer produced the first detachable face plate and Kenwood introduced motorized hidden face (in response to Pioneers detachable face).

I aquired the nickname "lessismorspl" from outlaw competitions b/c I hit high numbers w/ one 12 or 15 and would actually beat other cars w/ more subs and amps.

I have been MECP certified since 1993(CEA certified) and Master Certified since 1999. Since my arrogance and beliefs tend to disagree w/ the profits a professional shop wants to make.....I tend to stick to doing tech work and installing freelance.

I have not been involved in competition since 2003, but I still follow some of greats.

I'm into all types of systems, as long as they make sense, which we all know is not the case. I also have an open minded view on equipment, no equipment is junk, some is just made better than others, some has
more technology than others, but basically, w/ the right staging, the right enclosure, the right amperage, pretty much any system can sound decent. However I do respect and admire much of the technology out there, so I do like and own good equipment.

Some of my favorite manufacturers are broken down to type of equipment:

Subwoofers: Digital Designs, MTX Audio 7500's & up, JL Audio, Resonant Engineering, Kicker L5's & L7's, Image Dynamics, and a few others.

Component speakers: CDT Audio, Boston Acoustic, Focal, Polk Audio, JL Audio, JBL, and a/d/s(Directed Electronics)

Source Units: Panasonic MXE, Kenwood Excelon, Eclipse, and Alpine, (I guess I'll throw Pioneer Premier in there too...they have gotten better over the last couple years).

Amplifiers: Audison, JL Audio, MTX Audio, Diamond Audio(which I personally own right now), Braxx, SPL Dynamics(made by Flextron in Finland...not the cheap eBAY SPL amps), US Amps, Tru Technologies and Concept.
other amps that deserve recognition are: MA Audio, Arc Audio, Memphis, Eclipse, and Orion/PPI/Directed.

Coaxial speakers: Kenwood Excelon, Eclipse, CDT Audio, Polk Audio, JBL Power Series, Boston Acoustics, JL Audio, and some of the higher end mainstream brands.

Wiring/fuses/dist.blocks: hands down is Streetwires....never use anything else, have tried a few, but always go back to Streetwires.

Capacitors.....DO NOT BELIEVE IN THEM!!!!!!! Waste of time, money and creat resistence......I use a good Optima or Stinger battery and the Big 3 upgrade......high output alternators also.

So this is my 411...have fun on here.......

WoW, this is a GREAT honor. I just hope I can help others through their projects and on their path to higher learning as many of the others have helped me.

My name is Jason and I've been doing my own car audio for going on 3 years. I've had systems prior but always had them installed by a shop. From the moment I had my first system I wanted to learn how to do it myself. I asked one of the installers at the shop how he learned and he told me "Just teach yourself, you learn by doing" and since then I have tought myself everything that I know this far (with the help of others obviously). I'm a firm believer in asking questions, getting answers and trying to do it yourself.

I have done numerous installs in my own automobiles along with friends and families.

I've designed SPL set-ups in the past and have competed in dB drag. I enjoyed every minute of it but have been out of the SPL game and can say that I've gotten it out of my system now for the most part.

Currently I'm working on a daily SQ system that will really bring out the music in my truck. (A challenge in itself, SQ in a truck)

For my strength's I would have to say would be:
*Enclosure Design Fabrication
*Amplifier Racks
*Fiberglass enclosure design, kick panels, etc.
*Subwoofer/Amplifier installation/wiring
*Charging systems
*General Troubleshooting

As for my weaknesses:
*HU installations
*Alarms

oh man, this shiny little medal by my name makes me feel special ;-)

Name is Andrew, 19yrs old (2008) and i live in Northern California just south of Sacramento. My audio career began with looking at my car and making a few key conclusions.
1- I cant do any engine Mods
2- I cant do any body Mods
but the expressive young high schooler i was needed some sort of personal expression through the car, so i decided Audio was my only choice.

Ive done a handful of installs and have diagnosed and fixed countless cars that (at the time) had viruses in their system. I have a particular nac for troubleshooting and making things work, and my Lack of experience would be in stock to after market HU conversion, alarms, remote start (anything your average high schooler cant afford) my strengths are box design/fabrication wiring and woofer/speaker selection (fairly up to date with good products) Also High powered SPL Bass Race Car.
Current db: 146.6
My loudest build: 152.2
all on music

I am also an Acoustic Engineer at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Vallejo and wire/operate all their audio for the animal shows and parades so my experience is still growing. someday i aspire to be "old man audio jr."

Hello, My name is Curtis, AKA SQLThump, originally posting under the handle ShootuhMcBustaCap. I hail from Ft. Collins, Colorado, the most boring place in the world for those interested in car audio.

First, let me say what a great honor it is to receive my Gold Medal.
I got into Car audio four or five years ago, almost against my will. I let a buddy check out a H/U he couldn't get to work in my car with my system, and everything was wired back together all messed up. I had to go back and fix it, and this opened the floodgates to my car audio journey. I haven't stopped working with stereos since.

I have installed numerous systems in my day, and developed a reputation for building insanely efficient systems with the often times junk equipment I was using. People would often times assume I was using twice or more of the amount of power and speakers I was actually running.

With a major lack of talented people in the field here, I had nobody to learn something new from. After a couple of years of making great systems, and having no idea on how it was all working out, I finally found Clubknowledge, and really learned something. Now, I find myself considered an expert by the two people who actually showed me anything before coming here, and was issued the nickname "Sir Pounds A Lot" by a few of the homies in the cul-de-sac after working on their vehicles.

After years of working on, and improving several ghetto-as-all-hell setups in various vehicles, it was nice to finally learn how to to it the right way. The Golds before me have been more than helpful taking me under their wings, and I am more than happy to return the favor to any car audio rookies looking to learn.

My strengths-
H/U installation
General installation procedures
Selecting good equipment
Building highly efficient stereos, that are both very loud, and undistorted (SQL)
Using waaaay bigger, better quality amp-batt cable, and RCA cable than the equipment I use will ever need.
Dialing in stereos by ear
Also, home audio and theater work (I love it all!)

My Weakness-
Enclosure Fabrication
General electrical principles and theory
Anything under the hood except the battery and connections
Troubleshooting anything that isn't easy to find, or can't be seen with the naked eye

My system as of current (ever evolving though)

Parent vehicle: 96' Buick Century aka "The Bucket"
Head unit: Alpine CDA-9807
2-channel amp: JBL LCA-752,-75RMSx2 @ 4 ohms
Sub Amp: Alpine MRP-M500, 500RSM@2 ohms
Front stage: Infinity 5000CS 5.25 4 ohm 2 way component set
Sub setup: Two JBL GT5-12's, in a CarToys built 1.75 Cubic ft ported box..
Amp cables: Streetwires one 4-two 8 gauge
RCA cables: Monster Cable Interlink 2's for front amp, and Interlink 3's for sub amp, sub cables split off with RadioShack Y splitters.

I am more than happy to help in anyway I can, if you have a question just hit me up!
