9/15/2009 'IN THE BLACK', Kittie's highly anticipated 5th album, has FINALLY BEEN RELEASED!

I purchased the album two days ago from Amazon.com. To me it sounds a bit like Kittie meets Metallica meets Iron Maiden. I like to listen to the album for a week and then give my final thoughts. I think that so far it is the best album yet.

There is plenty of Black in the darkness .. good shit! To me this album is worth the money!

RUSTMINE is a five piece, American, melodic-metal band with band members both from Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA.

RUSTMINE came together as a full band in August 2006. After almost three months of rehearsing and writing, RUSTMINE played their first show, co-headlining at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, OR in July of 2006. The first live show was a success.

Career Highlights

Six months after RUSTMINE's first show, RUSTMINE was filmed for a television show called Milwaukie's Best Music. (Oregon State) A week later RUSTMINE was chosen as Crave Magazine's Northwest Featured Artist for Crave's January 2007 issue. During this period RUSTMINE recorded their first, self-titled, four song demo.

With the success of headlining the next four shows, and the reviews of the demo, RUSTMINE then decided to start recording their debut, studio album in May of 2007. The album "Self Destruct" was released on Tuesday February 26th, 2008.

Currently the tracks "Self Destruct", "Waste" and "Vicious Cycle" for their debut album titled "Self Destruct" are being played on various Clear Channel and CBS Radio stations through out the United States.

In August 2008 RUSTMINE will appear as track number 4 on a compilation disk directly after other main acts Scum of the earth, Megaherz, and Dead By Wednesday.

An album that has as much or more to offer then many of the better financed bands in the industry. Ring Of Scars Brand New "Symptom" EP

"This is an album strictly for the fans of Ring Of Scars. It features a few new songs that are prequels to the upcoming 2nd full length album from the band along with an eclectic group of remixes and ambient sounds. The album includes head crushing songs such as "CutThroat" (a song about ones own ruthlessness) and the fan favorite "Megiddo" (about an interesting conversation between God and Satan). The album also features remixes "Why" [Satan-in-Stereo Remix], "Set Me Low" [Hangman Swamp Version], and "Nemesis" [El Nemesiso Remix] based on songs from the bands previous album "Things Of The Past", as well as "Monsters" (Comin At You Live) (a radio promo made in 2004 for the Monsters of the Midday on Real Radio.
